Barack Obama's current visit to his father's homeland of Kenya marks the 50th country he has traveled to as U.S. President.

So, in celebration, Pete Souza, the chief official White House photographer, has released 50 pictures of Obama during his state travels.
The images - captured in each of the countries, from 2009 to 2015 - show the 53-year-old president engaging in an array of activities.
He beams barefoot in front of a gilded stupa in Burma, addresses U.S. troops in Camp Victory, Iraq, tours the Great Wall of China, visits Nelson Mandela's former prison cell in South Africa, and dances with his wife, First Lady Michelle Obama, at a banquet in Oslo, Norway.
He also tours the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt, visits Stonehenge in England, pulls faces with his youngest daughter, Sasha, on the roof of the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Moscow, Russia, and speaks with an animated Angela Merkel, the German chancellor, amid a mountain range.
The photos were posted by Souza on the White House's official Medium.com channel. He wrote on the site that his images show only a glimpse of each country he visited with Obama, and that some of nations were 'more accommodating' to his photography than others.
Obama was all smiles on Friday evening as he sat down for dinner with Kenyan relatives, including his step-grandmother, Mama Sarah Obama, and his half-sister, Auma Obama, on his first visit to his ancestral home as President. He will travel to Ethiopa on Sunday.
